GPS Knickers launched in Brazil

A Brazilian designer, Lucia Lorio has launched a new range of women's underwear with GPS tracking system, and the snappy tag line 'Find Me If You Can', the underwear has unsurprisingly caused an uproar.

Feminists around the world have reacted with horror to the new lingerie range.

Critics have said the underwear featuring a tracking system is the high-tech equivalent of a chastity belt.

However the designer, Lucia Lorio says: "This collection ... is a wink to women and a challenge to men because, even if she gives him the password to her GPS, she can always turn it off," Iorio said.

"She can be found only if she wants to.

"It's not a modern chastity belt. Some men think they can keep tabs on their girlfriends with it, but they're wrong," she said.

The lingerie costs a cool £500 and the more advanced designs cost up to £700.
