Well, ladies, research has shown that chemicals in most cosmetics can damage the reproductive system of male foetus. And for that reason pregnant woman are being advised not to use perfumes or scented creams after they were linked to cancer and infertility in unborn baby boys.
But this is something that has been known all along isn't it? This is not anything new but what are the cosmetics companies doing about it? It's business!
Research Professor Richard Sharpe says, "It might have no consequences but it is something pregnant woman can do for their babies."
So what's the way forward given that most products have got chemicals which may have harmful effects on our body?
Are herbal based products any better? I have seen a lot of these products coming onto the market lately.
