Guide to buying women's underwear

Seeing how man have trouble buying women's underwear, of course you can't blame man for this, they have never been good shoppers isn't it? Well, the other day I was reading the paper and I found something that I think will help our male friends get better when buying woman's underwear.

According to this article in the Lite paper, the following tips will help man be better underwear shoppers:

1. Do your homework - It may seem so obvious, but if you don't do it you will only have yourself to blame for all that embarrassment. "Find out your partner's size and favoured brand. You'll save a lot of time and embarrassment."

2. Think Colour - "Brunuttes look better in red, blondes suit pastels. For a seductive look, Black's a fail-safe classic. Chocolate is kinder to pale skin."

3. Get Fruity - "Don't know A-cups from DDs? Visualise which fruit it is that best represents your partner's bust size."

4. Be brave - "Lingerie staff have served thousands of men before, don't be shy. They know what they're talking about."

5. Quality Costs - "The more you pay, the better the material and workmanship, so the underwear is more likely to fit better and look classy."

6. Size matters - "No woman wants a bra that's too small or knickers that are too big. If you've no idea if she's a 10 or a 20 then go for a slinky negligee."

7. Think with your head - "Strike a balance between what you'd like her to wear and what she likes when choosing silk or lace, underwired or padded, strapless or backless and plunge and push-up."

8. Presentation matters - "Get it gift-wrapped for extra brownie points."

9. Game, set and match - "Buy lingerie in a set, bra and knickers, to show you are generous and thoughtful."

That's quite a helpful guide to buying woman's underwear, with help from Maria Walker, lingerie adviser for John Lewis. Hope you find it helpful.
